What I love most about the straight race is the moment just before the lure moves.  The Silkens are completely focused on the lure, you can feel the excitement and anticipation in every breath.  These dogs love to run.

Silken Windhounds excel on the race track.  On the Lure Course they are wonderfully agile and focused.

Although the dogs don't find the show ring nearly as much fun, those big rosettes with Open Bitch, Winners Bitch & such are actually kinda nice to bring home.
