About Us
Aquilo is Latin for North Wind, suiting for our location here in Ontario, Canada.  We are a small kennel with limited breeding plans of which health and temperament are important considerations. It is both a privilege & pleasure to introduce this breed. 

The Silken Windhound is a medium sized sighthound, elegant & graceful.  They have a keen sense of prey drive and excel on the lure course and track.   They exude personality & character and hold exactly what we look for in a dog.  These hounds live to run fast (of course), love the snow, and are devoted to us. They are friends to all they meet both two legged and four. They are couch hounds extraordinaire and above all, a wonderful part of the family.
